 What do I need in order to get DIAL-UP connection at home/office?
- You first need a computer.
- Next you need a modem. If it is outside the computer (external modem), it will have some name and numbers on it such as 28.8,33.6 or 56K. If you can plug a phone line into the back of your computer, you have an internal modem.
- Which takes us to the next thing you need, which is a telephone line.
- You will be required to fill in a subscription form and sign the Terms and Conditions. See Downloads page for the Terms and Conditions.
- No installation fee, you simply pay the monthly fee for the service.
What do I need in order to get SWIS BroadBand connection at home/office? - You first need a sight survey to determine the existance of signal in your area.
- If signal exists and is good enough, you will then need a computer, router at a fee of K 250,000 and free equipment such as antenna and radio from CopperNET Solutions. Note, the free equipment is CopperNET Solution's property.
- Note: if you wish you can buy your own router.
- You will then be required to fill in a subscription form and sign the Terms and Conditions.
- You will also be required to pay K 775,030 installation fee plus 3 months in advance on the regular monthly charge for the SWIS service.
